All Squad for ICC Women T20 World Cup U19 | CBTF Tips

Before the competition, the Indian U19 team had a run of victories and has been impressive recently. Finalists of the quadrangular series, including West Indies and Sri Lanka, were the remaining players. After that, the entire team was assembled for a series in Mumbai, where they easily defeated the New Zealand development team, winning 5-0. They then traveled to South Africa, where they defeated the hosts 4-0 to win the series.

In a low-scoring match, they defeated Australia in the opening World Cup warm-up game. Before the competition began, they suffered their first reverse when they fell to Bangladesh by three runs.

When Richa Ghosh, a regular in the senior Indian team, was added to the roster and Shafali was named captain, some people expressed surprise. The pair has performed several standout performances at the top level, which will probably be crucial to the U19 World Cup’s success. They undoubtedly increase the team’s profile while promoting new competition.

India’s vice-captain at the ICC women’s World Cup is Shweta Sehrawat, who served as the team’s captain during the series against the New Zealand development squad. India will be confident of their chances going into the major tournament because of several players on the roster, including opener Soumya Tiwari, all-rounder Hurley Gala, left-arm spinner Mannat Kashyap, and right-arm pacer Shabnam, who has been playing regularly over the previous few months.
