Both have started their campaign with a win – Rajasthan registered an outstanding win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Punjab Kings won the match by DLS method against the KKR. Royals have won the last two matches against the Kings and will be looking to register a hat-trick. Kings have to keep the momentum as they have struggled with consistency over the last few years.

Rajasthan’s top-order is in great form, and captain Sanju Samson’s power hitting might hurt the Kings on the Kings on the batting pitch. Rajasthan has an upper hand over PBKS. In the last match, the top-three batters registered a half-century. Sanju Samson has a great record against the Kings, including a century. Punjab has to play without Livingstone as he has not reached India yet. The great news for Punjab is that speedster Kagiso Rabada has joined the camp.

Left-arm fast bowler Trent Boult will be very crucial for the Royals as he always provided a great start and stopped the opposition to score runs in the powerplay. Leggie Chahal will be crucial against the Kings’ right-handers – Prabhsimran Singh, Jitesh Sharma, and Shahrukh Khan.
