T20 Blast Fixture: Vitality Blast 2023 Schedule With Venue Details | CBTF Tips

In 2003,Vitality T20 Blast was launched, and it quickly gained a lot of popularity. India won the inaugural T20 world cup, which was held four years after it was first announced to the world. After the 2008 World Cup was a success, the IPL was made public. T20 was the brainchild of the ECB, which is renowned for experimenting with new ideas. T20 cricket and the hundred were introduced.

The competition began in 2003, making it the first-ever T20 cricket league in history. More cricket leagues than the Vitality Blast have achieved fame. Two groups—the North group and the South group—each contained 18 teams that were vying for the championship.

The Vitality T20 Blast will begin at Edgbaston Stadium on May 20, 2023, as the ECB has decided to commence it before the Vitality T20 Blast. On the same day, four teams will play. Two matches on the first day of Vitality Blast will pit four elite teams against one another.

Against Somerset

The first match will be played between Hawks and Somerset, and it will start the campaign. They have met in the last two Vitality Blast semi-finals, and Somerset was the winner of the 2021 semifinal and lost the final against Kent Spitfires. They both have faced each other three times in the last season. Somerset started their campaign with a win while Hawks faced a loss. A magnificent inning from James Vince helped their team to win a match. Somerset will face Hawks on the opening day – 24 May, and two weeks later on 7 June.

Against Middlesex:

The Hampshire Hawks will host Middlesex in their inaugural Vitality Blast game. It is one of the two T20 matches that will take place on the first day of Blast. They would like to replicate the 2022 season, when they ruined the host team’s celebrations. Middlesex will remember 2008 with great affection because they only ever claimed one victory there.

The Hawks will try to match their performance from the previous campaign. Last year, the Hawks’ performance at the Radlett significantly improved. Players put on several excellent performances, including Liam Dawson (14-3), Captain James Vince, and Ben McDermott. Ben McDermott’s innings of 83 runs off 30 balls, which included five fours and nine sixes, was pretty outstanding. The Hawks’ first game is on May 26 and their second game is on June 6.

Against Surrey:

The following game between the Hawks and Surrey will take place at the Ageas Bowl. Surrey fell to Yorkshire Vikings in the quarterfinal game of the previous season. Nevertheless, Surrey is one of the T20 Blast’s top teams, as they have consistently shown. They took first place in South Group, won ten of the fourteen games they played, and were the only side to defeat Hawks twice. Surrey will play its first game on May 31 and its second game on June 18.

Against Essex Eagles:

The following game between the Hawks and the Essex Eagles is set, and it will take place away from home. In contrast, the squad that advanced to the quarterfinal in 2022 was Essex Eagles. The Lancashire Lightning defeated the 2019 champion Eagles in the championship game. In the group stage of last season, they defeated the Hawks at home. They will face off in their first encounter on June 2 and their second match on June 23.

Against Sussex Sharks:

The new schedule has been made public, and it has Sussex Sharks as the opponents. Sussex will travel just a short distance to The Ageas Bowl in June. In the previous season, Hawks recovered from a shaky start to win the first game, and they kept going and won five straight games.

Against Kent Spitfires:

Kent is the season’s champion in 2021, but they suffer a terrible year and place last in the South Group. James Vince hit a century against Kent last year, playing a memorable inning. On June 9, Kent and Hawks will play their final game.
