Pakistan Super League (PSL) will move to a player auction model from its 11th season, replacing the draft system that has been in place since the league's inception.

Under the new structure, franchises will be allowed to retain a maximum of four players, limited to one player per category.

The provisions for mentors, brand ambassadors and the Right to Match option from earlier seasons have been removed.

Newly inducted teams will be permitted to pick and retain four players from the available pool before the auction.

Each franchise will also be allowed one direct signing of a foreign player who did not feature in the previous season. The player salary purse has been increased to USD 1.6 million per team.

PSL 11 will begin on March 26, 2026. Faisalabad has been added as an additional venue for the upcoming season, expanding the list of host cities.
