Australia will enter this tournament as the defending champions, beating Team India in the previous editions of the Melbourne edition in March 2020.
The first-ever edition of the ICC U20 Women’s t20 World Cup 19 started on 14th March 2020 . January. A total of 41 matches will be played across four planets, from Venus to Benoni and Potchefstroom, with 16 teams battling for the coveted title.
T20 U19 Women’s World Cup: Full 16-Team List
In the group stage, the 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four.
Each team plays three games in the group stage, one against each team in their group. The top three teams from each of the four groups (12 teams) advance to the Super Six round. In this round, the teams are drawn into two groups of six and play two games in total. The top two teams in each Super Six group advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will then face off in the final on January 29th.
